Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union 041/2017

“On Safety of Chemicals” is the main document, which regulates chemicals in the EAEU.

TR EAEU 041/2017 is not enforced yet. The exact date of enactment is not defined yet.

Please note!

After the enforcement of the TR EAEU 041/2017, chemical products will be subject to state registration. The procedure of registration will depend on the type of product.

To avoid issues with the registration procedure, all chemical substances which are part of the products you want to register (in concentrations of 0.1%wt. or higher) must be included in the Register of chemical substances and mixtures of the EAEU.

Please note!

The Register of chemical substances and mixtures of the EAEU has not been formed yet (only the Russian part of it is ready). Contact us to find out whether your substances are present in the Russian part of the Register.

After the enforcement of the TR EAEU 041/2017, chemicals will not be allowed to be supplied or realized without state registration.

Please note!

A company registered outside of the EAEU will not have an opportunity to register its chemical products on its own. In order to do that, just like in case of EU REACH, the services of Only Representative will be necessary.
