Export/import of chemical products

Different countries have different requirements for imported chemical products.
For some countries, it is enough to develop an SDS. But most countries have strict requirements for the safety and quality of chemicals.
Additionally, the documents which were developed for one country, are not going
to be sufficient for executing supplies to another country. A recent example
is Brexit, which led to UK REACH and the fact that the existing EU REACH
registration is not enough to supply the same chemicals to the UK.
Examples of different countries’ regulations:
01
The European Union – REACH
02
The United Kingdom – UK REACH
03
The Republic of Korea – K-REACH
06
United States of America – TSCA

05
Turkey – KKDIK
04
Japan – CSCL
REACH-type regulations are usually similar in the way they work. For instance, it is individual substances which must be registered, not a chemical product as a whole, requirements for registration depend on the tonnage of supplies, etc.
The Turkish KKDIK regulation is currently being implemented – all substances must be registered before December 31st, 2023. Afterwards the principle "no data - no market” will be used.
