A new window for the inventory of chemicals in the Russian Federation

New Inventorying Window in RussiaOn July 29, 2024, a new period for chemical substances inventorying started in Russia. Inventorying is done to fill the Russian part of the Register of chemicals. This Register enables the Technical Regulation of the EAEU 041/2017 “On Safety of Chemicals”.

According to the text of the Technical Regulation, in order to register your chemicals, their constituent substances must be present in the Register of Chemicals.
For substance inventorying you need to provide information about chemical substances to the authorities. This information includes, for instance:
- CAS and ЕС numbers
- IUPAC names in English and Russian
- Planned annual supply volume, etc.
If you have already inventoried the constituent substances of your chemicals previously (in the 2019-2020 inventorying period), we recommend you double-check that these substances are indeed present in the Register.
